UNHCR
UNHCR has been our donor as of 2001 and currently. Donations are related to micro credit program: start up or small businesses development, and until 2007 for housing – IDP. Donation for non-financial support refers to clients’ vocational training. Target groups are vulnerable, predominantly refugees and IDPs, as local population indeed.

Danida
Danish Government program was implemented initially by MDF staff who operated within the umbrella of Danish Refugee Council. Danida funded micro credits as of 2001 and handed over the Revolving Fund to the MDF in March 2005. Target group: IDPs, refugees and local entrepreneurs.

ICRC
International Committee for the Red Cross started collaboration with the MDF in 2002 within the Vocational Training program. The cooperation was extended with the micro credits as of 2003 and finally resulted with the funds hand over agreement in May 2005. Target group: extremely poor among IDPs who fled Kosovo.

UN HABITAT
UN HABITAT has become our donor and a partner in 2007 for three projects related to support and help to refugees and other vulnerable local groups in municipalities: Nis, Kraljevo, Kragujevac, Pancevo i Valjevo. Support is available in grants, vocational trainings, as micro loans for starting and developing small businesses.

Tavolo Trentino
From Autonomous Province of Trento Italy - signed the contract for the micro credit program with the MDF in 2005. The program is aimed for agricultural development and tourism of Kraljevo municipality.

MFC-USAID
Micro Finance Center (MFC) from Poland is our partner in a project related to conducting Social Audit in 2007-2008, financed by USAID. Main purpose is, after scanning situation, to improve SPM systems and processes in MDF.

European Agency for Reconstruction was our donor for partnership project “Support to Sustainable Livelihoods of Refugees and IDPs” with DRC in a part for Vocational Training and IKG.

LEDIB
Local Economic Development in the Balkans programme is a five-year programme for support to local economic development with a focus on development of the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise (SME) Sector. In line with the strategy of the Danish Neighbourhood Programme, LEDIB covers Nisava District and is in support of the poverty reduction strategies of Serbia.The development objective of the programme is socially balanced economic development and employment creation in the Nišava District in Serbia. Within LEDIB programme Danish Government supports MDF in capacity building by providing trainings that will help the staff to improve their knowledge and skills.
